Gyms may be a particularly risky place for getting the coronavirus. A pair of CDC studies show many people got the virus during indoor fitness classes despite social distancing and capacity rules. The flat rectangular tool (you can find some made of flexible plastic, others of sturdy metal) is sort of a cross between a chef’s knife and a spatula, and it will become your kitchen superhero in no time. And before you say but I’m not a big baker, I don’t need this!, know that while you can certainly use a bench scraper for trimming laminated pastry and frosting layer cakes, I still think one of the best reasons to keep such a tool around is to seamlessly transfer chopped vegetables from the cutting board to a sizzling skillet (more on that later). Plus, I bet you’ve made a tray of brownies lately that would have benefited from evenly sliced squares? Or wanted to scrape up stubborn bits of food stuck to your kitchen counter? A bench scraper, specifically a metal one, can help. source http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/food52-TheAandMBlog/~3/GnCmyoorGbE/25963-uses-for-five-two-bench-scraper Via https://lauragfollett.tumblr.com/post/644132965858852864 “Til the Blue” reminds Mark’s fiancee that family and friends ease the pain and grief of death. Apparently, the texture of butter in Canada is one of those things. There’s a storm brewing online over what some outlets are calling “Buttergate.” It all started on Twitter (where else?) when Canadian food writer, Julie Van Rosendaal, stared into the digital abyss and pondered a seemingly innocuous query: Was the butter in Canada different? Had the texture changed? More specifically, was it less soft at room temperature? source http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/food52-TheAandMBlog/~3/mBvz841h_zk/25998-canadian-butter-crisis Via https://lauragfollett.tumblr.com/post/644129174544596992 Belanger’s daughter remembers hanging out with her father for “patio party times,” when they’d play music of every genre, but would often close out with his favorite Streisand cut, “Songbird.” (Image credit: Courtesy of the Belanger family) Check out CBD Shop or CBD Blog source https://www.npr.org/sections/songs-of-remembrance/2021/02/25/970713861/david-belanger-71-barbra-streisands-songbird Via https://lauragfollett.tumblr.com/post/644125410294120448 |
